This is not a playoff team.

Faceoffs will be a huge issue again this year

Line logic:
F1: Laf replaces Butch's offense, Kakko works the puck down low in the dirty areas, and Zib is Zib

F2: Strome & Panarin in search of their Jesper Fast replacement still get Kravtsov as their side piece. 200ft player, can serve any offensive role(playmaker, goal scorer, behind the net, etc)

F3: big and fast(that's what she said) A heavy, fast, puck moving line. Can rush the puck, play dump and chase, can honestly do anything except win faceoffs

F4: Dolan wanted grit, so he got grit. Reaves goes to the LW, so the more skilled Blais can play his natural right side. The winger turned 50% in the Faceoff dot Barclay Goodrow slides between the two

D1: Lindgren & Fox...need i say more?

In all seriousness I like this pair, Nemeth gives Lindkvist room to play with the puck and acts as a safety valve on that third pair as he's defensively reliable

I think Rooney stays in the regular lineup even if hes not taking faceoffs, its the only reason they would have protected him over Blackwell IMO

Also if Miller takes a step I think time to move him up with Fox and let Lindgren make the defensive side of the game easier for Trouba

Kreider, Goodrow, Hunt, Blais and Barron are all big bodies that can compliment skilled players. I think the size should be spread out. No sense making all these moves and having the same top 6 (essentially).
Gauthier is big, but doesn’t play like it enough. These new acquisitions are noticeable players every shift.

The lineup should be interesting to see
