You forgot to sign/OS a high-end C during FA (Barkov, J. Hughes, Dach, N. Suzuki, Hertl). You also didn't mention who we draft at the 22 draft. For shame!

Hab fans are worse then Leaf fans, No way in hell would Yzerman consider that offer. Engvall is nothing more then a 4th liner worth no more then a 5th round pick. LD and RD is Detroit's organizational strength so Dermott is a no go. And a late 1st round pick that's a pretty meh offer for Bertuzzi.

Bertuzzi could put up a total of 2 points this season and still get a better return. I swear this website gets dumber and dumber by the day

Being the best player on the worst team definitely means you are the best player on a good team. At least that is what wing fans seem to think. Like Glendenning is worth a 2nd because he's an elite PK and 4th liner on the worst PK and defensive team in the league. Bertuzzi is a middle 6 depth winger. No more.

Every fandom has their one Leafs-fan minded guy that severely overvalues their own players and undervalues everyone elses such as the Glendening for a 2nd idea. Being the best player on a garbage team is like being the tallest dwarf, but in this case you have an actual good player in Bertuzzi who plays a highly sought after style of game. Certainly worth more than Toronto's garbage and a low pick

I am not so sure. I think he's a decent player but the reasoning that he'll move to a better team and see his stats explode is silly. He could easily fall to the 3rd line and be just a good depth guy. If he doesn't find chemistry with Matthews or JT I don't think he's a 20 goal scorer on the bottom 6.
