b prospects 3 pairing defenseman and a 4th liner doesn’t get you ekholm. Ekholm would be on your top pair so it’s gonna cost you something you don’t wanna lose

Forsling is a legit top4 defenseman. But that is also why this doesn't make sense for the Panthers. This gives the Panthers a top4 dman and costs them a top4 dman. They need to acquire someone without weakening their roster
