the Panthers arent trading Lundell for a rental in Zibanejad. hes a non starter in all trade talks

Doesn't make sense from either side. Rangers are trying to win now, and Florida has no interest moving Lundell

Agreed. This is an excessively dangerous move that I wouldn't consider. Lundell *May* never be as good as Zibs (Don't get me wrong, I love Lundell and think he's got a huge ceiling), but the Panthers really need the flexibility that his ELC offers going forward. Signing Barkov should be priority #1 right now.
