Why would Kreider waive?

That’s not enough in my opinion. This is what I have always suggested:

Buffalo Sabres

Ryan Strome (cap reasons)
Kaapo Kakko
Nils Lundkvist
2022 first

New York Rangers

Jack Eichel

That's really close to what I normally suggest

Sabres: Kaako, Schneider, Strome, Georgiev, 1st
Rangers: Eichel

I was going to say Georgiev, but they just got Devon Levi, and Lundkvist’s ceiling is bigger than Schneider’s in my opinion, so I would probably want him if I was Buffalo.

Or we don’t make a trade at all. Holy crap the jump from Mika to Eichel is not that large to make that much of a difference. Why the f**k are we spending so many assets on a dude with a f****d up neck? Let some other idiot trade for him and use all their assets to do so.

Kaako, Lundquist PLUS A 1ST!!???? HAHAHAHA

Well we know that's not happening.
At this point that is nothing but a dream.
GM Adams has painted that corner in.... he cant trade him now, no acceptable offers.( absolutely nothing near ANY OFFER ON HERE WILL BE OFFERED) So Eichel will sit , miss half the season and get 50% of any offer at the deadline.

IF they somehow get him to play, AND PLAY WELL..
They might get a decent offer.
