Sabres definitely don't do that. Change to a 2022 1st and it's still just a maybe. That's one awful contract.

Think of all the money the Preds could save on having to pay scouts. They wouldn't be needed anymore!!

Neither move makes much sense for NSH -- they need the picks.

That's also a wild Saros contract. Ingram + Askarov in the wings -- Saros isn't getting 6 years. 5 x $5.5m would be my max offer.

Lol you want to hear some fun facts about the preds since you wanna talk about playoffs. In the last 17 years the preds have missed the playoffs a total of 3 seasons. We made the playoffs last year with basically the same roster

Don't under estimate the damage Poile's done recently. Arvidsson and Ellis gone by choice will hurt and while Järnkrok wasn't by choice...it's still a piece NSH is going to miss. Myers is a pretty good dman, but he's not Ellis caliber.

You do realize that we started our run last year without arvi and Ellis. I will miss both of them for what they done for the organization but both of them were trending downward. Do I think the preds will make the playoffs this year? Meh it won’t surprise me either way. I think we have a decent enough team to make it but I also think we’re a few players from getting hurt to be a top 5 pick team so I’m kinda enjoying the unknown.

You're telling me that Pettersson is worth 3 1sts, 3 2nds, 2 3rds, and $10.2M a year? I'm all for getting rid of Duchene and better center play, but this isn't growing a pair. This is doubling down when you have no money in your pocket.
