Boychuk is on LTIR already and does not need to be moved. This comes down to taking an expiring Komarov for a 1st and Bellows. Hard pass

Komarov and Hickey (both expiring) with a 2nd and Bellows attached? Now we're talking.

2 questions
1 why wouldn’t Edmonton just call Buffalo instead and save the first that is absolutely unreasonable to even suggest.
2 who is currently available for Edmonton to bring in that’s both affordable and at worst equal to kosk?

1 question. How does Koskinen have negative value in the Edmonton trade and then turn around and all of the sudden and have positive value in the buffalo trade?

Khudobin

Has he ever played for a Canadian team? Is it worth paying to move kosk then pay to bring him in? Better to bet on kosk returning to his form from the season before this past one. It’s not impossible but I’m pretty certain Holland struck out on his attempt to upgrade that position and the plan is stand pat. Possible take another swing at or around deadline.

Khudobin plays for Dallas..... Don't think that makes him available

If you put Georgiev in the trade with koskinen that would actually be decent value.

Kessel might get a second, especially at his cap hit right now.

That Dvorak trade I don't think is that bad.

Islanders don't do that at all, throw in Hickey and change the first to a second and leave Boychuk out and that might work.

I don't think Buffalo pays that much for Koskinen either

The price to take Koskinen is a 2nd, not a 1st and no he doesn't have positive value.

I think the Sabres like Bryson, which makes it even less likely.
