Why do I see so many Cizikas contracts at around 6 years and $2.5m? Is there a rumor that he did/will sign for around there? Or is that just the number fans want so that the AAV is lower?

Apparently the 6-year deal is signed, along with Palmieri's, Zajac's and Parise's but they are just not announced yet.

Yeah it’s heavily rumored he signed a 6 year deal, trust me if it were up to me he would NOT be signed for that ridiculous term

I’ll take 2.5 x 6 for cizikas over 3.5 x 3-4 years. His reputation will allow him to be traded easily (at a 2.5 cap hit) for the remainder of his contract.

Juolevi feels kind of blocked behind Hughes and Ekman-Larsson on the left-side and could quickly be passed by Rathbone. Bellows could be a nice top 9 option to replace Virtanen.

We "replaced" Virtanen with Garland and Podkolzin. Juolevi has more of a shot of making the team than Bellows does
