Cam Fowler has a 4 team trade list, The odds of St Louis being one of those 4 teams is less then one percent.

Gotta guess two of the four are Detroit or Minnesota. Considering his from Michigan. Maybe Toronto cause of geographically being close as well. St Louis could be one considering, but like you said, highly doubt it.

I know his wife was a college professor at University of California Santa Barbara, But things have changed since then. And they bought a home in West Bloomfield, Michigan about 2 years ago. And Cam Fowler was on record wanting to raise his future Children there if that means anything.

I think that the value is right if the first-round pick is in 2022.
