Forsberg is worth more than that. Preds are also unlikely to trade with CAR after playoff exit.

I don't know about the unlikely to trade with CAR part (the two teams did make two trades at the draft), but I agree on the part about it not being enough for Forsberg.

This is roughly 2 1st rounders for 3 weeks of Forsberg.... this is more than enough.

Carolina won't do this for a rental. You're looking at EITHER Gunler or the pick... or you're talking about an extension, which Carolina cannot afford with the cap issue next year.

I agree it's light but lol what is that second piece

Social media teams beef has no impact on trades, and now that we are back in the East and Nashville is back in the west it makes even more sense for Canes/Preds to be trade partners.

I'm saying major trades. They traded picks at the draft.

I don’t think teams outside of ones in the same division try not to trade with each other historically. And even then we see divisional trades quite frequently. Maybe a slight premium is paid but honestly I don’t even think that happens outside of forums like this.
