Think this is a decent proposal for both sides, perhaps Tkachuk qualifying offer is an issue.

This might be the best offer for Tkachunky I've seen. I'd do it if I'm CAL and worry if he's willing to sign long term. I can see him wanting out after this year, similar to Reinhart.

Yes I would take it as well, Necas could develop to a number 1 center and Teravainen is a top line winger.

As much as I'd prefer MT to bounce back AND sign an extension when it comes time if there is a real chance he wants to take his talents to STL this is a great package to get in return.

I think this has some merits but it seems a little too much for Carolina to give up as I don't think Tkachuk is enough of an upgrade over Teravainen to be worth giving up Necas. Calgary needs to sweeten the deal and Tkachuk needs to agree to an extension before Carolina agrees to it.
