Both these trades are unbelievably lopsided, but in different directions.

So LA and SJS never meet up for that kind of interdivisional trade. And either way I doubt LA has interest in paying up for Kane - especially because we all need to wait and see what happens with Kane anyway.

Next SJS gets absolutely rinsed in the BUF trade. Idk why that trade even is necessary or an idea - Ferraro is already looking like a mainstay top 4 d man at 22 who still has top pair ability (not production).

Have you been paying attention to the news recently?

Kings wouldn't give you a 7th round pick for Kane, much less a top-6 forward and a 1st round pick.

The ferraro trade is absurd. Please stop "rebuilding" a team you know literally nothing about. you come off as a troll (this is your third SJS post in 4 days and you're a Canes fan)

Sabres have 2 first overall picks on left d, plus three of their top prospects. The sabres organization seems pretty happy with bryson, i can see them moving him just because we dont need left d- like for a young forward, but i dont see them moving him for another left d.

He’s an absolute troll. He’s not even a canes fan, half of his posts about them don’t make sense either.

Ferraro isn't being traded. He is very likely the future captain of the Sharks. This deal isn't even close to his value.

The Kings aren't looking to help the Sharks out of this debacle with Kane. They can't even afford to get him as they are.

Kane’s deal is getting Voided and he’s going to be out of the league when they find out his wife wasn’t lying,

Not only is Ferraro our best defenseman quite possibly is one of the best players on the team, under team control for the next six years and all his entry-level contracts still. no way in hell is anybody getting him without sending back a first rounder multiple picks and multiple prospects

Ferraro is untouchable and Kane is untradeable, so no.

That’s a shockingly ignorant take; regardless of team bias.

Sabres dont need LD, Bryson is just as good as Ferraro, they arent going to move Bryson for an equal LD

He’s not just as good - hes worse defensively, not younger, and provides little more if not minimal more offensive production. Additionally Ferraros 5on5 stats rank him around a (4.8) 5mil dollar player whereas JB is at (2.8) 3m.

So worse overall, minimal increase offensively and no real age gap with Ferraro playing over 22min a night compared to Bryson’s 19. With the addition that I’ll assume Ferraro is facing more elite competition seeing as Ferraro was the backbone to the D core and utilized as our “go to”.

I can understand both teams saying no; but to say the Sabres would decline first being that the Sharks would say yes/ send the offer is unreasonable.

What defense stats rank JB worse
