It used to be Engvall, Dermott, Mikheyev and sometimes Kerfoot to Detroit for Bertuzzi.

I actually kinda like the moves. You might have to sign and trade rielly and add/or add another piece cause Washington already has Carlson. They can't have two high cap-hit defensemen, but they might go for it. I think you are giving up too much for Dvorak - he's great, but it's tough to give up potential like robertson. If Rielly is leaving, we need to get something for him and I'm okay with letting Sandin run with it. We also have that KHL defensemen who's supposed to be really good too.

Washington only does this if they feel they need to trade Wilson cause his suspension history but I don't think that's a thing yet so they decline. They might be interested in Reilly but not by giving up Wilson.
Islanders might do that if they feel their young guys can't play yet.
Arizona probably says no thanks although Robertson is a nice piece. The picks don't really add anything there. If it was one second or a first or would be different.

Wilson is much more valuable than Rielly all things considered so that’s a reject right off the bat. Caps also don’t want/need Reilly as that’s not a position of weakness for them so the concept of Reilly to the caps doesn’t make sense anyways.

I assume dahlin moves to the right side at some point, samuelsson as a big, tough, defensive d is a need. I dont think theres teams clamoring for kerfoot. Im curious how this left d thing plays out- maybe hagg and butcher show that they have some value, plus bryson and ryan johnson with power coming i would guess next year. I dont see the sabres having interest in trading samuelsson especially for kerfoot.
