Pretty good but Troch and burky probably get more than that. Maybe burky takes a paycut to stay there but if Troch is signing this deal it would probably be for CAR.

Or Pittsburgh tbh. Hes a hometown kid and would get 2nd line minutes since Malkin is up in age and will be moved to either wing or 3C.

This kills colorado for the next year, 10 mil in cap space to sign mack, newhook, byram, jost ranta and kaut. No need for half the contracts really. I like trochek he's a solid addition but nametnikov, paul, acciari can all be filled with depth and murphy would be a nice addition but byram will be getting top 4 minutes by this time so it doesn't work plus we will need that 4 mil

As much as I hate to see it I could easily see him going to PIT. They’re by far my most hated team in all of sports so that would be a tough pill to swallow haha

Lol why do you hate us so much? Alot of PIT fans really like Carolina because of Staal and a entertaining team to watch! Unless your still upset about 2009...

Haha - it’s a hateful respect wink

09 hurt and I became a Caps fan when we moved to DC for 5-6 years which was during the heat of that rivalry and seeing the pens generally getting the best of the caps up until they won their cup. Have always disliked guys like Crosby letang etc. they’re great players but I’ve just always hated them haha

Trocheck doesn't leave Carolina without a Hamilton-esque margin of overpayment by another club. This isn't it IMO. They might let him get a contract elsewhere, however, if it goes up to something like a 7x7M or something equivalent to that.
