Id change the proposal by deleting it, There is absolutely no benefit to SJ with this, any trade where SJ retains 9.25M long term, takes back a huge cap dump, and gets no assets is the quickest way for any GM to be fired on the spot.

this is just a situation sharks will have to eat and deal with long term.
I honestly feel Kane's ex wife is more accurate than we would like her to be. Kane's deal will be terminated and weather or not he receives
any compensation is yet to be determined.
Karlsson is Doug Wilson's white whale, he vastly overspent on the trade to get him even though experts said he fleeced Ottawa, and then proceeded to give an obviously declining player superstar money and we are now stuck. I would assume he will let Karlsson rot in SJ rather than trade him to a team that could rebound his career cause he is afraid of his rebound showing bigger issues with his and the sharks team philosophy.

No NHL team in their right mind will take on Evander Kane (except maybe Montreal?). This guy will or absolutely SHOULD be cancelled and should never play another NHL game.




Agree with this but Nikita Zaitsev is NOT a "huge cap dump". He has 3 seasons left at 4.5 AAV and can totally play. Hardly a crippling deal. I don't know how he got that "reputation" but the guy is a decent player, just slightly overpaid. If he's your 4th/5th best D-man, you're fine.
