IMO based on his talent right now, no. Based on Seattle's need for centers, maybe

If he is on the team no way he starts as 1C. I don't see him getting to be a 1C for the next couple of years

I doubt it. That Michigan team is stacked so if I were him I'd want to go back to win a ship since after this year he won't ever have that opportunity again. This decision though is also based on what the other Michigan first round picks want to do. If he does play the whole season for us he would probably be the 3C not 1C.

Let him dominate in Michigan for a year and then sign him to play a couple games before the NHL season ends. Centering the top line of Michigan will be a great spot for him to develop and fine tune some parts of his game
