For the last freaking time!!!! Doug Wilson started very specifically that the offer would have to be "ridiculous" for him to even consider trading Hertl, plus if anyone did it would probably have to include a new extension. so the 1 year rental is not a thing.
Hertl a top 20 C in the league will require a 1st a top prospect and an NHL player.

1st plus a good prospect (so like Boldy or Khusnutdinov). Or something like Rossi and a 2nd or 3rd. SJ needs a hefty package coming back for Hertl or we just keep him and re-sign him in the offseason.

A lot more than it is to you. And in reality, outside of this website, acquiring Hertl will cost a lot more than this dinky package you've assembled. WIlson stated for him to trade Hertl it will have to be a mind-blowing package. This doesn't even tickle the needle.
