Yeah except sharks will not retain that much. Not even half of that. If that means keeping him, then fine. He had a down year and won't be down forever. Realistically if we did retain that much, Norris and a couple 2nd's would be coming back as well.
I love EK and was higher on him before most people (made a killing on Ebay with his rookie cards back then) but even at 7.0 x 6 years, no chance the Sens would give up Josh Norris
Remove the Sharks 2nd and add a 2nd from Ottawa and maybe a prospect like Lassi Thomson
Moot point anyway as Karlsson wouldn't want to work for Melnyk again

Doubt karlsson wants to go back to Ottawa, he doesnt want to be in San Jose even. Koskinen is a better Goalie than Murray at this point. Take away the 11 games they made him play in a row because he was their only Goalie and he had a .910 Sv%.
Totally disagree here. Of course this is just my opinion, I'm a goalie myself. I'd bet a good amount that most people in the hockey world (that can evaluate goalies) would think the same.
Murray numbers were greatly affected by the Sens inability to defend at a NHL level at the start of the season. When he came back from injury in April (so when the Sens had finally figured out how to defend), he had a 0.954 SV% in 5 games. Small sample size but it looked quite easy to be honest
Hogberg's numbers also got much better as the season advanced. It also took the team much longer to figure out how to defend on the road, each of the 5 goalies had much better stats at home than away. This was not a coincidence, team defense was PUTRID initially
