Description

This team is built on Youth and developing them
We want to be a playoff team but only if its the youth leading the way
Kulak gets sold for the same reason Desharnais was sold in a similar situation in 2017
We wanted to get Danault minutes at Center and it worked out bit by bit

Fairbrother is that guy you want on your 6th/7th D position as he's an aggressive stay at home D who sends messages when his teams attacked. He plays a similar style Lyle Odelein but more mobile as a skater

As he mature's Fairbrother's role will grow
But for now we just need him to be a Dick and take on the Tom Wilsons
He probably wont wil against heavy weights but like Deslauriers when he player here he will hang in landing some heavy blows.

If all the youth can step up and get us to the playoffs this year Awesome!
If not they'll get valuable experience for next season, especially our young Blue liners Romanov and Soderstrom who will be the future

-the picks are where its at though as ARZ GM Armstrong already declared he selling and wants picks/prospects and is willing to take on cap dumps

So your telling me that montréal, that MTL would give a 2x1 + 1 second + Primeau and Yonen, for Dvorak( i mean we need him no prob but he is not worth more than a first and b prospect ), and Sodostrom ?

First Primeau ain't going no where because he is the only good goalie prospect in MTL system, and god know how important goalies are in MTL history. + Sodostrom isn't worth Primeau a first and a second. Even if MTL would want to get him witch i Doubt, they would only trade for him with there left D propesct, like harris, Norlinder, Struble Ect, because they have Extras.

It will take him time to grow and sure he's more of a playmaker then a Goal Scorer but he fills a big hole on our RD side

Beyond Petry ,Savard Wideman and Brook we got nothing
We got LD coming out the Wazoo that are all overachieving mid round picks
But RD we're screwed as Brook was moved to wing last year replace by a AHL signed player (defensive liability )

The RD 20 years old projected like Soderstrom is ... that has value
There's maybe 6 in the league teams would think of moving and ARZ is the only team who's GM said he's selling to build Via Draft

ANA 3rd should be 65th -75th OA
VGK 1st round pick should be 25th-32nd OA (29th and 30OA the last 2 years)

But honestly i can make it VGK a 2nd and MTL a 4th
Still works out for both teams
