I think we'll just keep Kaprivoz over that offer. If he was willing to sign that contract he'd be signed by now.

That's what I was thinking. The offer would have to be over 10 mil for Minnesota to even consider not matching, because Kaprisov would sign that.

Wild aren't trading kaprizov especially to division rival like ever. Not especially for a bunch of crap like Dylan strome.

That is a great offer for Kaprizov who may not even sign with the Wild. Im not sure what crap your seeing there but thats a big pay from CHI and one I wouldn't do tbh.

There's nothing wrong with the value, but I just don't want to trade Kirill to a division rival where he'd play against us every other night.

Well wild aren't trading kaprizov. what you said is just blatantly false. But hey you aren't in Minnesota and don't know the facts

If it was possible to sign Kaprizov for 9 M$, the Wild would just sign him but this is a pretty good offer

Lukas Reichel : excellent prospect (probably Chicago's best)

Kubalik : excellent player, not even 2 years older than Kaprizov

Strome : common he's not crap, he's only 24 y/o and has proven he can produce

1st + 2nd + 3rd : a trio of picks that has pretty good value

I think we're throwing the word excellent around a little liberally.

Excellent was used twice in that post (semantics, could have used another term), so where was it NOT deserved?

Reichel as a prospect?
Kubalik as a player?

I mean, yeah, what do you mean by excellent? What is it in relation to?

Kubalik is a good top six/top line winger. He's not an all star caliber player.

Richel is a good prospect, I like him a lot, he's one of the two players I wanted the Wild to move back into the first round to take, but he's not an elite blue chip kind of guy. He's not projected to turn into a Patrick Kane level guy. He should be a good middle six to top six forward when all is said and done. Probably not too far off Kubalik one way or the other if he reaches his potential. He may be Chicago's best prospect, but most other teams have at least one better prospect than him, some have a few.

Well, it obviously depends on everyone's semantics

I have generationnal players for guys like McDavid and Crosby

I have elite players for guys like Huberdeau, Brad Marchand, etc

Then I have high end, then excellent/very good, then good, then average, then below average, then barely NHL level I guess.

By the way, Patrick Kane is more generational than "excellent". He's probably the best USA born player ever. Of course, it depends if your standards are realistic or not.

Agreed some teams have better prospects, some have several but to me he's an excellent prospect. Not blue chip, not high end but not just "good" either

I don't think they should be trading Kaprizov either though what I said wasn't false, its a difference of opinion to yours clearly. I am not in Minnesota, I don't know the full situation with Kaprizov though I do feel CHI would be making a huge mistake if they made this deal.
