I figured I'd make a thread for general prospect news separate from any Crunch stuff this year since not all prospects are property of the Crunch yet. Anyways, there's going to be an opportunity to see our prospects in Tampa in around a month. Looks like it's only players on ELCs or on the reserve list, no organization veterans yet to make NHL impact.

Goncalves not being played at center again. This is starting to become a trend and has me thinking his future with us might be on the wing. Having a top line spot locked down for the showcase is impressive though.

Alnefelt turned away all 5 shootout attempts from the Canes but looked a little shaky in net.
I'll probably update with the goals later, but I only saw the 3rd period. Canes looked to have us on our heels most of the third though.

I have updated the formatting on the prospects lists and added that Flinton is indeed playing in the USHL this year. I also removed Lipanov as it appears he'll be staying in North America this season with either Syracuse or Orlando.

Niko Huuhtanen is coming on strong for the Everett Silvertips in the WHL. He started out as the 4RW and didn't score much to begin the season, but he has 6 points in 3 games and is closing in on a point per game now in the 3RW position.

Remember that this is his first year in North America and the main complaint with him was his skating. It's good to see his game is translating though on North American rink sizes.

I wonder if this hot streak will get him at Finland's WJC selection camp.
