No way strome gets 6.5

Fox and Georgiev already taking hometown discounts.

Have to move on from Strome.

Strome, Georgiev both have to go. Unfortunately I could see Lindgren and nemeth being moved before their contracts are done to move in guys like Robertson and Jones. Blais might be gone too. Possibly buyouts on Trouba/Kreider if not traded

Kreider and Trouba should be out men out, but I'd put my money on Strome getting similar sized deal elsewhere

Not to mention the following offseason

Can see Fox taking a discount...but between 8.5 and 9 would be more realistic.
Kakko- should probably pay him more on a longer term- 4.0 X 6?
Georgiev will get moved...think he'd want more money anyway- but they'll get a back up who they can pay 1.25-1.5M
Strome- there's just not gonna be the kind of money available to pay him
23/24 looks to be a cap nightmare...even if LaF, Miller, and Chytl get bridged- money's gonna be real tight...can see Lindgren and one of the other kids getting moved if the Rangers can't move Trouba or Kreider- both who have NMCs which become modified trade clauses the next year.
In any case, lots to happen in the next 2 yrs.

If both Robertson and Schneider are both able to to take their next step, that could force Lindgren out.

Blais might not be that much of a priority to keep. Definitely not Gauthier.

Desperately need to find a way to move one or both of Kreider and Trouba.

Adam Fox just won the Norris. Assuming he doesn't fall off a cliff next season he's looking at $9.5/10AAV, not $8. I get he has no leverage but neither did Makar or Heiskanen and they got $9 and $8.45. I see zero way Rangers get him to agree to $8. Bare minimum I think is $9AAV. IMO
