Is it Houston or Quebec

Created by: Jetman

Description
If it's Quebec, Detroit moves over and renews the rivalry...if it's Houston, it stays the same and Houston and Dallas have a new rivalry

This is my opinion based on both cities wanting a team

What would stop them from just moving to Phoenix?
Share the space with the Suns

With that said, if they do relocate, my money is on Houston with all the transplants there and it still being able to be in the Western Conference

I agree... Houston has the money behind the ownership too...if I remember correctly, he is the Rockets owner so an arena is no problem

The arena deal was part of the reason they were losing money and the NHL wants a team in Arizona...

What's this about, is someone reporting a potential move of the Coyotes?

No, they simply just got kicked out of their arena in Glendale and need to find another arena to play

Glendale is ending their arena deal with the team.

I'd like to see the Nordiques back.

This is their last year in Glendale, hearing they could go to Tempe or possibly Phoenix could be on the books.

Why would they be defiant? I wouldn't say that is definitely a dark horse...no ownership movement there

Only problem if they go to the east, probably one of Columbus or Detroit would've to go back to the west. And both teams said that's not happening.

Send em to the Maritimes. St. John, New Brunswick at TD Station (Formerly Harbour Station). The St. John Jolly Rogers, Captain Jack Sparrow as their mascot. Puts a team on the East coast but staying on the mainland. The location is perfect for both CAN and USA residents with the proximity to the border and added availability of water travel through the Bay of Fundy for games as well. Just a thought...

Oh, is that all? They can just set up an outdoor rink in the desert. Bettman will spare no expense to make it work. smirk

I think the most logical option is to go wildcard and move the Coyotes to Anchorage.

QC is never getting an NHL team again. The real money is in the states not with the French

Agreed except for one thing: Detroit has alot of sway with the league so the Red Wings moving to the west? Not so much.

Columbus? They don't have the same kind of sway Detroit does. Realistically, the team is likely staying out west.

Dude, come on. Houston makes more sense in every financial regard than Quebec. It's not even close.

If it’s not Quebec City then Bettman officially hates Canada, they’re the best option by far
