Yes Detroit needs young LD but not for a lot of our future. I don't like this trade even though it's close to being fair.

Detroit gets: Buffalo's best defenseman by far, only 21

Buffalo gets:

A roster player like Zadina or Vrana? Nope.

One of their better prospects like Raymond or Seider? Nada.

Even a 2022 1st? Nope.

Yeah why does buffalo consider this? Detroit loses almost nothing they really need. I get it if you think he's overrated or whatever but this just isn't close

I don't hate this idea, I was thinking about it today to actually. I think since we have so many LD prospects we would need to move some of them out for other pieces, specifically centre prospects since you are trading 2. I also think Larsen doesn't really hold any value so that might need to be upgraded.

Take out Eichel and its probably close, maybe Buffalo adds a 2nd rounder
