Not sure if this is enough? Alot of people don't realize how good Zadina is getting right now. Viro looking to be a top 4 guy. Veleno well be a good nhl centre. Trying to keep our firsts but I wouldn't be too upset if it had to be included.

    Absolutely Zadina is underrated rn

    But that's still about 1/2 Dahlin's value

Naturally buffalo would need to be bowled over

According to Rob Blake, he's looking for a left-handed Filip Hronek or Moritz Seider

Agreed it would have to be unreal I'm sure. Although he has expressed his frustration with the club. I bet he wound welcome a change right now considering where they are heading.

Why give up an arm and a leg for a guy who didn’t help prevent Buffalo from being a laughing stock? Wouldn’t it be better to target a veteran that can mentor the youth? Don’t need a superstar quality just a guy that can rub off positive habits like fitness training composure stress importance on the finer details. Going in this direction your bringing in a guy who has no team success has nothing to offer the youth and is just another young guy that could use a mentor.

    Thank you @Radu47 and @Ledge_And_Dairy.
IMO right now Dahlin has more value to the Sabres than Eichel.
He is young and has already produced scoring more points than any 18 YO other than Housley (pts were easier to get when he played).
Krueger was the worse coach ever.
Now that the Sabres have Power, I would imagine to BLOW THE SABRES AWAY Raymond, Zadina, and more would at least get Karmanos to stop laughing.
I know this is a bold prediction, but Granato got the players to produce and may not finish last in the league even without Jack, Sam and Rasmus.

I don't want Detroit to make any big deals anytime soon, I am very happy with Yzerman's process and want to see all of our guys develop. I am VERY high on Wallinder and Edvinson and they could anchor our top 4 on the left side for the next decade+ within the next couple years and that doesn't even factor in wildcards like Sebrango, Viro and McIsaac (if he can stay healthy), then on the right side, we'll have Hronek and Seider. I am very optimistic about our defense in 3-4 years and until then, just bridge the gap with guys like Leddy, DeKeyser, etc.

I don't disagree, I was just exploring what I think it would look like. I honestly think of we trade anything it's too bolster the centre depth of the organization. I would like to see us acquire someone with the potential to be a 1-2C in the future.
There are also looking like a few for centre options in the top ten of the next draft.

I don't disagree, but even then, let's see what Suter and Veleno can do there first, not to mention Ras (although I think he's better served long term on the wing)

I'm just really hoping that since we grabbed a LW, RD, RW and RD in the last 4 that we grab a centre this year.

I'm still really surprised Chicago didn't qualify Suter and I feel like we got an absolute gift there. I think he has a ton of potential and I'm really excited to see what that Guelph line does together.

Totally agree. How does 14 goals in your rookie season not get a second look?
