I don't see Mittelstadt being traded. When Eichel got injured Mittelstadt played very well and that's why a lot of people think this could be his breakout season.

Buffalo has a couple players that want out so why would they trade players that haven't ask for a trade.

You are right and I'd be happy if Mittelstadt was coming to Detroit. With the players they have traded this year. I don't think they can afford to trade Mittelstadt or Dalhin.

Some Sabre fans think hes the long term middle(no pun intended) 6 Center solution. He also goes from absolutely unengaged and out matched to a highly skilled, smart playmaker at complete random. To me one of the harder players to predict as I believe he has now had 3 different NHL coaches, 2 GMs and played in Rochester with a completely different staff than who is there now, so in context hes had no stability and different people telling him different things every couple of months

What is Zadina value?

He had 9 goals and 17 points in his last 23 games.
Not to say he can do this same pace over 82 games, but it is a good indication of what he can do playing the "Granato" method instead of the Krueger!
Take out the Krueger effect and he has 47 pts and 22 goals in 105 games.
Playing the Krueger way he has 5 goals, 9 assists in 55 games.
He looks like a bust when Krueger coaches him, and like a decent #2 center without him.

It's amazing how players respond differently to different coaching styles.

I believe he will be the breakout player of the year for the sabres 55+ points

I don't know how many points he will get but I do think he breaks out this season.
