My Predictions:

Montreal had no doubt an amazing run but they will now be competing in the Hardest Division with four teams in that division being top ten in the NHL. Boston, Toronto, Florida and Tampa are the dangerous teams and to me Montreal doesn't have enough consistency to take on a ton ten team for 4/7 of their Atlantic Division games.

Suzuki and Caufield are going to be great but I feel that they can't fully develop if they have to shut down number one lines in their division such as the Mathews-Marner-Ritchie line, the Pasta-Marchand-Bergeron line, the Point-Kucherov-Palat line, or even the Verhaeghe-Barkov-Reinhart line. To me the second line is the best option for them considering that they are both young and playing against second line players could greatly benefit them.

Now for the entire team: To me this team ranks around the 16-18 mark similar to where they placed this year and I do think that they either finish out of playoffs as the fifth seed or in a wildcard spot.

Overall the future is bright but with their current line up and no trades, this team wont make playoffs. The reason being their Center position. As of right now they have KK as their second line center witch isn't great and I feel that Suzuki is too young to step into a number one role. Therefor if I were to change anything I would trade KK for a decent number one center who can both increase depth in the center position and take pressure off CC and Suzuki.
