Kotkaniemi isn't worth that

Pick can be top ten protected and u getting 1st round pick back. Mac was in a very bad draft.

Brutal for the Ducks, not even considered, Bob Murray laughs until Adams hangs up when he realizes this isn’t NHL 21

The real Eichel trade is gonna hurt ya. Prep for Krebs/Rossi and a couple late firsts.

Rossi and a couple 1sts is actually a pretty good return imo

I don’t think this trade helps Anaheim. For a team I. A rebuild it does quite the opposite. Eichel would solve the 1C problem if the belief is Zegras won’t be that, but it opens up a lot of other holes as well. Dry scale is projected to be their best defenseman, McTavish looks like he’s going to be fantastic whether that is down the middle or on the wings remains to be seen. Jone sis no slouch and a 1st in a deep draft where if looks like Anaheim will be picking top 5. Eichel is good, but not that good. I think of it from the perspective of does the trade have some sort of benefit to both teams. This certainly helps the Sabres, but I have a hard time seeing how this trade helps them when so much is going the other way, but that’s my opinion.

Anaheim declines and it's not clear that the Ducks would make that trade if Drysdale were taken out, because as good a prospect as Ryan Johnson is, LD isn't a need for Anaheim.

You can’t try and justify this trade. Sorry it is just bad
