It's really not cap compliant with just a 20 man roster. Then next year without much cap space to sign RFAs and a "Hertl" comparable. Last thing SJ is another big contract.

Oh, let's flip through my file of copy/paste responses to terrible sharks rosters:

1. The Sharks shouldn't go for Eichel
1A. We can't afford him, no, really, we can't afford him
2. That's not enough for Hertl
3. Bordeleau is going back to Michigan this year
4. We're not giving you Eklund our our 1st round pick

Apparently it's time for #3, #4, and a side of #1A!!

The offer sheet for a $10 million dollar contract that the Sharks can't afford means giving up not one but *two* 1st round picks. Ergo, #3 with side orders of #4 & #1A

you definitely steered clear of #5 tho - that's "the Sharks don't want Tierney back, please stop."
