These trades are all heavily favouring the wings.
Kyle Connor, an A+ prospect, and a second round pick for declining Jimmy Howard? Have you not seen how the goalie market is? There's no way Howard fetches that.
Abdelkader for Eberle is ridiculous, Edmonton has Lucic and Maroon as big forwards who can stand in front of the net/protect McDavid and provide some offense.
Mike Green for Shattenkirk is nowhere near fair value, cmon.
No way a Vanek rental brings back a good goalie prospect and a 1st round pick and 3rd/4th round picks.
I really hope nobody gives up a 2nd round pick for Sheahan who is 25 years old and has 0 goals, 9 assists and is a -19 in 58 games this year... hard to argue he's still a developing prospect
Detroit needs to offer more in every deal.
