Not an expert but pretty sure his points are already taken into consideration on his +/- stats, don't think it's fair to add them twice to the equation. Oh and please stop comparing Poolman to other contracts because it doesn't make his any better, Vancouver's paying a third pairing guy that has a significant negative impact offensively (0.15ppg) and that is decent enough defensively 2.5m for four years, term's awful. It's funny cause the Nucks basically traded a overpaid defender away this summer just to be able to acquire two overpaid defenders after (OEL, Pool) hoping they'll be better than their first overpaid guy.

Yes. That's the point. His production was so bad last year and he was such a defensive liability that even if you double-count his points, he's still in the negative.
