You have Dvorak twice (#10 and in HM).

I'd have Kyle Connor a bit higher.
Also, I think guys like Atkinson, Copp, Coleman will get some consideration just on PK alone.

Oops, I originally had Miller at center for whatever reason but I remembered he's mostly used on LW, so I added Dvorak in his center spot.

The wings are so deep that Connor may seem low, but in reality, I take all those above him on my team.

If Faulk plays this season like he did last season, he'll be ahead of like half those RDs. But he has to do it again.

Indeed, but he already slowed down at the end of last season. He could do it but it seems unlikely.

I think ultimately, they go with something like 2 scoring lines, 1 pesty two-way line, 1 youth / high-tempo line.
Maybe not these exact guys, but something like this:

Gaudreau -- Matthews -- Kane
Tkachuk -- Eichel -- Debrincat
Coleman -- Larkin -- Oshie or Atkinson
B Tkachuk -- Hughes -- Boeser
Robertson

Werenski -- McAvoy
Slavin -- Fox
Hughes -- Petry
McDonagh

He's only better than Coleman.

Yeah maybe...I pointed out Connor in my first reply.
I was just making a point that the team they bring will not necessarily be the top 4 at each position.

I think they go with 2 scoring lines, 1 defensive, pesty checking line and 1 youthful energy line.

Tons of combinations one could go with....

S1: Connor -- Matthews -- Kane
S2: M Tkachuk -- Eichel -- Debrincat
Ch: Coleman -- Larkin -- Atkinson
Yo: B Tkachuk -- Hughes -- Boeser

S1: Gaudreau -- Eichel -- M Tkachuk
S2: Guentzel -- Matthews -- Kane
Ch: Larkin -- Copp -- Oshie
Yo: Robertson -- Norris -- Keller

S1: Kane -- Matthews -- Debrincat
S2: M Tkachuk -- Eichel -- B Tkachuk
Ch: Nelson -- Trochek -- Coleman
Yo: Farabee -- Hughes -- Caufield

No, he slowed a bit near the end of Parayko's injury layoff, because he was being overworked. He was back to normal down the stretch - until Colorado cheap-shotted him out of the playoffs, that is.

That's certainly not how it went down last season.

Dvorak and Hughes are C #5 and 6 in either order imo. But the rest of your fwd list is pretty solid.

There’s a lot of arguments for guys on D tho. But the top 4 you have listed should be the guarantees and then some heavy competition for the remaining spots on the Olympic team.

Honestly I don't think Dvorak is that good. He has some room to grow but as it is he is a lower-tier 2C

I was looking at it more as a fit on the Olympic roster and I think he’s a better fit at 4C than most of the guys ahead of him. Copp could work there too for PK purposes.
