Ya and no deal can be made until JE is also healthy. He won’t be traded till he’s played NHL games again. BUF won’t settle for less than a package for JE at his potential ceiling value and no team will pay the assets for a guy who’s health is completely up in the air

Maybe, but that’s also on BUF for not disclosing the injury info. So it’s clearly not the other 31 teams responsibility to close their eyes and throw a dart in an expensive trade. If BUF let him get the surgery then there would be a deal in place before Oct ends and it would be full price.
