Calgary isn't rebuilding and that isn't enough. Even if we were, why would we trade Lucic?

I would be ok with this trade. Definitely steers the Flames to a long-term prospect windfall.

Calgary is apparently thinking about trade matthew tkachuk ans monnahan sounds to me like they are gonna start a rebuild girodano is gone geudreau is a ufa in 2022 and teams in the pacific like the kings the oilers the canucks are getting better and you got the kracken i think its time for a rebuild


also Lucic is only there because this trade also means ottawa is stillunder the cap so with ottawa acquiring lucic they are no longer under the cap

OTT does need or what lucic to no longer be under the cap, they have Brady and Batherson still to sign.....and if OTT is ending their rebuild they would not to waste 5.25M in cap on a dead weight useless player and Mathew is not what the sens need.
