Beecher has been unimpressive. Monahan 50% retained should be able to fetch a very good prospect, a 1st, and probably a "cap dump"/roster player. Boston isn't a good destination. A team like Minnie might give up Addison, a 1st, and Rask for Monahan retained

This makes more sense. Out of division too. Win-win.

Like the inventiveness on the Eichel deal. Makes sense except for the games played in 21-22. Sabres don't agree to a big number as a surgery is going to happen and it's still probably the fusion. Flames want the number to be high because they'll probably still suck without Eichel for a stacked 2022 draft. Just impractical at this point so close to the season.

We’ll keep him anyway, now that he’s not trying to play through a shoulder injury and over Covid, i’d like to see what he can do.
