I don't understand why we would trade anyone currently? Why not wait to see what happens in the preseason. Anyone gets hurt and we have depth to handle it and likely cap space as well.

Really. Engvall and Mikheyev hurt to watch. What exactly were you expecting from them? 50 goal seasons?

Engvall with decision making. Mikheyev and his finishing. (I'm against trading mikheyev but I think engvall will be due to fitting under cap)

I think Dubas will make it fit, both are useful players

If Mikheyev shot 10% he might of… lol.

Both players were great, especially Mikheyev. More hockey dB scouting.

I agree. They are what they are and effective in those roles. I don't get why so many people want everyone to be a 20 goal scorer, no team has only those type of players

Engvall is great at skating through the neutral zone. Goes from blueline to blueline with no hands and no issues, he may need to go but I appreciate what he brings.

Mikheyev was an offensive generating machine last year. Played a great pk and defensive game as well. Very easily will be a 20 goal scorer next season. That shooting percentage will level off. He is due.

I am not so sure Mikheyev will ever be more than a 10-15 goal scorer but in the bottom 6 that's fine really. Engvall has more upside I think because he has added a physical side at times. If he drives the net more and limits the occasional mental blunder I think he could be a really effective player. I would keep both of them over Kerfoot if we have to move someone. But I bet there will be injuries that will free up space. There always are
