Skinner is owed $20m more than Johansen -- that ends any attempt at a deal right there. NSH has been trying to shed $$ this off-season, and get younger + cheaper in the process -- this does the opposite.

What abt Duche+retention on Skinner?

Skinner is gonna be hard to get rid of IMO. I think there is a greater chance that Joey and duchene bounces back than there is with skinner. So I’m good with our cap dumps lol. If they run forsberg johansen duchene line like they did in the playoffs I could see an improvement in productivity from both players. But then again that’s my opinion.
