Is it just me or does that 3rd line look like it's missing a LW?

Like Martinook a lot, but as a 4th line guy.

Still..... the blueline looks great. This team should certainly be in Cup conversations..... as long as Freddie stays healthy.

I think signing Galchenyuk or Donato for cheap on a 1 year deal could be a good option for that 3LW spot -- low risk move that could pay off.

Donato is a great option really. His advanced stats are actually pretty good for being on a not so good Sharks team.

Even a 1 year flyer on Palmieri (who surprisingly hasn't signed).....

Rumor is Palmieri has already signed with NYI, but the details haven't been made public. If that's not true though, Palmieri would be the perfect addition to CAR's top 9.

Could very well be. Islanders are still dancing the cap. Maybe waiting for Beauvillier to sign???

Definitely missing one if not two top 9 pieces. Ideally they would have addressed top 6 scoring winger which would push Nino down to third line. Would also love to add Donato even after they make that move. Would ensure increased competition throughout the lineup and serve as insurance if guys get hurt throughout the year.

You're about 3 years and 1.5 mil short on the rumored Svech deal.

Besides that, it will be DeAngelo with Slavin, Pesce with Skjei, and Cole with Bear. Say what you want about TDA off the ice, he's a 50 point defenseman on it. From that aspect alone, it makes sense.
