- Korpi moved at some point before deadline
-Murph signs with CBJ as a UFA. Kuraly signing leads all roads to Murph signing as well, and Roslovic is here.
-Russians (Marchenko, Voronkov) will be over to start 2023-24 season per Jarmo
-Gus probably gets dealt at some point, but too far off to tell.
-This is a good idea of the 15 F's, 8 D that have a shot at the roster.

The korpi trade is useless with what the acgm is about however like others have said korpi isn’t returning that much right now.
Besides the point should be more towards jackets fans discussing who in the forward group needs to go and who can stay going forward. With the signings of kuraly and Jenner (resigned) we have 2 bottom 6 spots Locked up. Bjorkstrand and laine on the top 2 right wing spots, roslovic as a top 9 center, and nyquist and voracek for the next 2 and 3 years respectively. With all of the young roster players (texier stenlund bemstrom foudy etc.) and our prospects coming in the next year or 2 (marchenko, sillinger, Johnson, voronkov, etc.) who moves on and who do we keep?

I do like the pick up of Murphy. He’d be perfect for werenski to be paired with. We may have to overpay him alittle more than that. Maybe 6 million.

Goalies weren't the reason the Oilers lost this past season. Smith was 7th in Vezina voting and his playoff GSAA was right near zero... he didn't win it for them but he didn't lose it either. Just in comparison Hellebyuck went beast mode but there aren't those type of goalies available for trade.

And I mean if Holland were to Holland we'd be trading for Jonathan Quick or Cory Schneider right now...

Holland isn't worried about the goaltending. He hasnt changed it in a few years. Why would Edmonton downgrade in between the pipes, give up a first, and a promising defense prospect.

Yep, Chinakov/Tarasov already under NHL contract, Marchenko 22-23, Vronkov 23-24.
