Seems like if Bozak was going to sign a cheap deal like that, it would have been done already.

I think the blues want to sign thomas first as they already are against the cap i think thomas and bozak camp are waiting for a VT trade to sign atm

Strickland reported that Bozak turned down $1.5m from blues at start of free agency and he probably regrets that now as he’s not getting offered that by any other clubs. He’s 35 so he’s prob not getting much more than $1m

Time changes things, especially when no one else is calling. But it serves no purpose to nickel and dime the guy when you want him to be a team leader.

That's way too much for Tarasenko. He's played fewer games in the last 2 seasons than Nino Niederreiter has points last year. His name value means nothing anymore. His injury issues have seen to that. You're looking at retaining that down to 3.75 if you want a prospect like Suzuki, or Carolina will just walk away. You're looking at maybe the picks outright to take on 7.5 million against the cap for a player who is absolutely been destroyed by injuries.

Agree, Canes laugh at that ask.

Tarasenko does not return close to that, and in any deal, there must be retention or a bad contract going back.

Doesnt really matter just wanted to get rid of VT for no NHL ready player in return so i could do the lines but ill keep that in mind
