Bad deal for Buffalo. I’m sure they like the firsts but that’s about it in that deal plus you want a young D. And a 2nd going back with retention? Not close to realistic.

Buffalo says no.

Eichel won’t be traded at this point. Nobody is trading for him until after he has surgery and proves healthy.

What makes you think theres enough there to warrant retention, Jokiharju, and a 2nd? Thats miles away from Eichel himself, let alone... Thats a bunch of plugs and not even a 22 1st, yikes

yeah this is it, the worst eichel trade by far 2 middle six players, one bottom 6 and bottom pair d and 2 late firsts
