I think the plan is for mcabe-Murphy to be the shutdown pairing. I would like to see dehaan-mitchell on the bottom pair. It would be really nice if we brought in a guy to play with jones on the top pair but it won't happen

The roster looks surprisingly good. It will be thought to make the playoffs in that central division but now that they have a starting goaltender, this team could grab one of those wildcard spots. The defense is the biggest question mark along with Toews coming back after missing a season

With Toews maybe out... Strome good 3C fringe 2C... Johnson didn't play C since a while...
the Center line is too affected for a Playoff spot... and New NHL D-core should be younger than that IMO
