sucks for the hawks too. Murphy is better than Rielly and no one is giving Strome+1st+2nd for a guy with 6 games of NHL expierience and 1 total point.

Happy to eat my words if Keith bounces back. However Keith has had 4-5 rough years now. Sure he played a lot of minutes but his results in those minutes were not good. He’s definitely considered a cap dump by most teams and people at this point but kenny was not one of them which could and likely will be unfortunate for Oilers and their fans.

keith is owed very little money in actual salary which is why Chicago didnt want to retain without a better pick. Edmonton has the young players to make it through the next two years so it wasn't that much of a deal breaker.
