Why are we resigning Kase when we have no idea if he’ll even be any good this year?

Coyotes wont be a team in a few years after their arena deal runs out next season.

What? That's nothing for a top 5 point producer in the league plus it won't be Arizona anymore

I can't see Bettman letting them leave the 4th largest US market: he doesn't seem like the type that is going to let that fail, after all that he has done to keep that team afloat. In all seriousness: it's a tough situation down there: I am not sure that the Sun's owner will be willing to let the Coyotes share his arena, and I am also not sure that he'll be super thrilled if they build another arena in the city (that would compete for concerts, events, etc.). Tempe would be a great choice, but that would basically devastate Glendale Arena's income. I assume that this is either a.) a negotiating tactic, or b.) the Coyotes' move after this season to a west or central US city with a larger market (i.e. Houston or San Antonio). My money would be on San Antonio, as it's a large market with only one professional sports team in place and in a city that other professional leagues like the NFL have even thought about moving into. This is, again, just my opinion, so please don't hate. smile

I think Marner to Houston makes a lot of sense, especially since the Rockets owner would likely take over. NBA owner would want star power imo, not to tank in their first szn

Houston Rockets owner has said he wants a NHL team many times so I assume that's where they go

Okay, well it's not nothing, I didn't say anything about Arizona and the franchise is in no way in a place to trade cheap young talents for an 11M player. Financially, competitively this is the exact opposite of how the Yotes are proceeding at this time.

you would need to make it 3 first rounders in the Marner trade. To get him you have to give up 5 pieces in return.

Even then Arizona (sorry I mean Houston) will say no and continue the hunt for Shane Wright and Connor Bedard

You can have CBrown, but youre not gonna get him with spare parts.

Why being so stingy with two first round picks?
