of course, elite right wing playmaker blais is the perfect guy to partner panarin and larkin. kravtsov was always meant to be a bottom 6 grinder either way.

blais isnt even a right winger, hes famously left handed, and famously not famous for his offense.

Why would the Rangers do this? It likely puts over the cap in 21/22 with bonuses, and certainly in 22/23 which reduces the cap available in both 22/23, and 23/22.
Really it's a lot to give up for two years of Larkin for a team that maybe won't make the playoffs. If nothing else, couldn't the Rangers find a very competent centre for 6.1 and keep all those assets? Does Larkin put the Rangers over the top?

While this a a huge payment for Larkin and not justified, this would leave Wings without a true center, their newly named captain and local boy who is a draw ticket wise.

Do not see Stevie doing this.

4 first round picks and a 2nd line center thats almost a point per game player that went 5th overall in his draft. Yes this trade can get you Eichel. Lundkvist Won best SHL Def this year and also broke the record for most points for anyone under the age of 20 in the history of the SHL. This is a HUGE offer.

Shortsightedness.
23 Short 6m total realistically (3m Fox, 2m Kakko, 2m Kravtsov. Cap going up by 1m each yr, next 4 yrs. Need 1-2m for bonuses).
24 Short 16m ish !?...

Strome is the benefactor of Panarin nothing more, While yeah i would love Lunkvist we're not doing it for Larkins sake Detroit wants to be more competitive and i'm sorry this doesn't make us more competitive in the short term perhaps but doubtful long term. And no Buffalo wouldn't accept this for Eichel without at least Kakko included in the deal noway would Adams accept this deal.

Best defender in SHL was won by Moritz Seider. Lundkvist won "best swedish junior".

Strome is NOT the benefactor of Panarin. Strome went of a point streak this year again (Happen last year as well) without Panarin. Its fair to say you don't really watch or know anything about the Rangers after seeing your comment but lets just agree to disagree grin Its funny cause Kreider played with Strome while Panarin took some time away for personal reasons and Kreider goes 9 goals in 6 games playing with Strome haha Strome been a beast. Just a late bloomer is all and something to think about is Dylan Strome cause right now i bet he's cheep to get and will blow up soon as i assume he's a late bloomer as well. Just saying.

Okay so Strome was the benefactor of Kreider My point still stands he has talent around him rather it be Kreider or Panarin.

laugh You obviously don't know what you're talking about, Moritz Seider won best SHL Def of the year. Lunkvist won best Swedish born Defnseman.

I’d easily do this for Larkin.

Lundkvist won the Salming trophy which doesn’t carry much weight as it’s not a consensus vote for the winner. Strome definitely is a benefactor of Breadman and the point streak everyone likes to point to is roughly 20 games where he shot well over double his career SH% so not exactly the best example.

That award has nothing to do with juniors.

Anybody who plays with talent is carried then? Strome posted a EV OFF WAR in the 91st percentile this year and even higher last year, so no, his offensive production has nothing to do with either. If anything Kreider benefits from Strome. Kreider scores goals, he couldn't do that without Strome passing to him and Strome couldn't pass if Kreider couldn't score. Symbiotic relationship.

Yeah, I'd also keep Larkin over Strome, but if you gave me Othmann, Lundkvist, and two firsts to switch I'd do it. That's a big haul.

If i was a GM and seeing what Strome has been doing i'd be all over Dylan Strome right now.. Could turn into a #1 center being a late bloomer. Get him cheep right now for what he'll be worth when he explodes.

3 years ago... Strome has been almost as good as Larkin for two years now. Throw in 4 1sts round picks though
