I mean he's ok if your signing him for this little. He's a third line Lw tops though. Philly probably will scratch him. I do think he is better than most people think though, and gets more hate then he deserves

Any player that can score goals is a boost to your team if he's signed to your team for a cap hit like that. It'll be very easy for Brassard to overplay his cap hit. Philly can even bury his contract if he's a big enough mess up.

Brassard hasn't aged well at all, but it's always nice to have cheap depth. He's also infinitely better than Nate Thompson (still, that's not saying much).
