Overall I dig it for the Blues but I don't know if the isles would go for it - for the money having a guy like Mayfield at RD is great value. I'd let sunny center the 3rd line and barby the 4th.

Mayfield got to be one of the best contract in the entire league

isles wouldnt take that also mayfield would be on 2nd pair right put faulk on left and put Perunovich on the 3rd pair with bortuzzo

i think the value here is fair, but like everyone else has said, that contract is so valuable for what he provides, and there’s already a top 4 hole on the team, so i just don’t see them moving mayfield.

NYI moved Leddy and has a whole on their left side, they can't afford to move Mayfield too.

Devils aren't a good destination for Scandella, 'we' are full on defenceman.
As for the trade itself, Johnsson is a lot more valuable than Scandella, Devils decline anyhow.
