Eichel Realistic Read Description

Description
I want to be clear I don't think it is a good idea for Montreal to trade for Eichel before he has surgery but IF they did and Jack was able to come back in full form I think this trade makes sense for both sides. I think Montreal could also ask for a 2nd or 3rd back but that is minor details.

Bet on KK to break out with a top 6 role and sign him before he does

This is precisely the crux of the problem. No one knows this and its why trading for him is so hard.

Yeah of course everyone would be fine trading Suzuki and Anderson for a 100% healthy Eichel.....

So let me get this straight...

You want us to give up a younger, healthier and less expensive player who also has a very good chance of being a top center in the league, plus our only RHD prospect anywhere near the NHL

Anderson won't be traded MB purposely signed him long term

I think -100% thought went into this trade.

MTL hangs up the phone if BUF calls and says the name Suzuki or Caufield. Even if they didn't MTL shouldn't go for eichel

Suzuki is the only decent piece in the deal, The rest you can keep.

Like I said at the start of this, "I want to be clear I don't think it is a good idea for Montreal to trade for Eichel before he has surgery". My preference is to keep our young guys and let them run, I am just saying best case scenario IF Montreal did trade for Eichel and Had to include Zuke is the above.

Anderson has to be included for cap offset and Buffalo wouldn't do Zuke 1 for 1 for Eichel so they get a good power forward and RHD prospect (maybe we could keep Brook but that is again a minor detail)

This trade makes sense valuewise imo. Suzuki and Anderson are probably the exact type of player Buffalo is looking for (competitive, team oriented, unselfish, etc)

If I'd have to name the 5 players that will really define the Canadiens leadership Core, going forward, it would be : Suzuki, Anderson, Petry, Price and Gally.

So i think Anderson and Suzuki are probably the 2 players the HABS are less likely to trade. They'd trade Caufield before IMO

Yeah I agree and I don't think Montreal would trade Caufield either. I was just trying to 1. Fit Eichel and 2. See what it would look like IF Montreal decided to go hard after him.
