TBH don’t need more centre’s. obviously would be nice but we were lacking depth wingers

Meh. Would have been nice but Podkolzin is nice too. I wonder if we still trade for Miller had we landed Zegras instead of Podkolzin

Pettersson and Zegras can both rotate between C and W as needed. I don't think position would be a concern. Using them on wing rounds out the forward core very nicely.

I don't see why not. Zegras and Podkolzin didn't effect their NHL teams at all in their draft +1 years.

It is probably the #1 prospect in all of NHL.
Its a luxury, not a need.

I think Zegras is 1.5 as good at hockey as Podkolzin and will have 1.5 as good a career 😕 so I'm not too thrilled with this theoretical 1 for 1

Well I mean we got our franchise center in Pettersson and an elite 2C in Horvat who are both young. Defence is our priority right now cause our forwards are good for the foreseeable future. Podkolzon was supposed to guy higher but was passed on cause teams didn’t want to risk pods pulling a Kaprixov and staying in Russia
