TDA holds more value on the ice than either Byron or Ouellet. I wouldn't give up a 3rd for those 2 players alone either.... pass from Carolina. As much as the DeAngelo signing has sturred up the fan base, he is a 50 point defenseman.

That’s not why he was signed for 1m. It’s bc of off ice stuff. Nobody willing to risk a lot of money on a player with his track record so this makes it easy to cut him at first slip up. His ability on ice isn’t what’s in question.

He is that constant. The reason he is as cheap as he is has nothing to do with his on-ice performances

I don't see the Jackets having any interest in Drouin at this time unless you want to include a 1st as a cap dump.

Byron is waiver fodder
Ouellet is a 7th/8th dman

Why would Nashville trade the better pick and a young dman for this?
